                                ORDINANCE NO. 9619
                   
                   
                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHATTANOOGA CITY CODE, 
                   PART II, SECTION 3-92(a) RELATIVE TO THE 
                   DEFINITION OF PUBLIC STREETS, ROADS AND 
                   RIGHTS-OF-WAY. 
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
                   
       	    	 SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE 
       CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that Chattanooga City Code, Part 
       II, Section 3-92(a) be and the same is hereby amended by adding a 
       new sentence as follows:
                   For the purposes of this Article, "public 
                   street", "public right-of-way" and "public 
                   road" shall include any private street which 
                   is open to and regularly used by the public 
                   and which is constructed to City standards 
                   set forth in the Subdivision Regulations 
                   adopted by the City. 
                   
       	    SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this Ordinance shall 
       be effective two weeks from and after its passage on third and 
       final reading as required by law.
